Some of the most popular activities during winter in Iceland are glacier hikes and northern lights hunting. We decided to combine the two and offer you the Northern Lights Hunt from Sólheimajökull glacier.

During this tour we will take you to the wonderful South Coast for a glacier hike on Sólheimajökull glacier. After having a glacier experience we will warm up in the hot spring river in Reykjadalur valley.

The South Coast of Iceland is full of wonders. Magnificent waterfalls, black sand beaches, steep cliffs and breathtaking glaciers are everything that will be waiting for you during our one day South Coast and Glacier Hike.

Glymur is the one of the highest waterfalls in Iceland with 198 meters (only Morsárfoss in Vatnajokull glacier is around 30 meters taller). The waterfall is located in Hvalfjordur – The Whale Fjord just an hour drive from Reykjavik. The hike to Glymur takes about 2,5-3 hours and it is on of the most incredible day hikes close to Reykjavik.

During this tour we will take you into the underground world of amazing lava cave Leidarendi and visit South Coast of Iceland for unforgettable walk on Solheimajokull glacier.
